Weigh-In (Noodlebean): Week 71

June 13, 2009 by Noodlebean

After a week of kiiiiind of eating semi-normally (though not really), plus traveling:

Weight: 188.5 (up 1/2 # from 6/6)

I have really good news which is that my elliptical machine is finally FIXED!!!! Maybe next week I’ll get on it and start getting back into the swing of that. I’m a little nervous since I’m still recovering from being so sick… but I have to start sometime, and I can take it slow…

Weigh-In (Noodlebean): Week 70

June 6, 2009 by Noodlebean

Well, the bad news is that I got really, really, really sick this week! Out of nowhere!

This is the good news:

Weight: 188.0 (down 4.5 # from 5/30)

Sooo maybe I can harness that. We’ll see! It might still be water weight. I ate food yesterday, but I ate nothing most of the week. I couldn’t even keep water down for a while there. Nice.

Weigh-In (Noodlebean): Week 69

May 30, 2009 by Noodlebean

I think the slight increase last week can be blamed on my period…

Weight: 192.5 (down 1 # since 5/23/09)

I’m happy to report Ticker Factory is back.

Thanks for sticking with me. I’m experimenting with different ways to stay afloat here.

Weigh-In (Noodlebean): Week 68

May 23, 2009 by Noodlebean

Well!

Weight: 193.5 (up 2.5# from 5/18)

At this rate, I’ll be back at my starting weight in no time! Hmm.

Does anyone know what happened to Ticker Factory??? It seems the website is gone!! Very unfortuante as it held all my weight data for the past year and a half!

Weigh-In (Noodlebean): Week 67

May 18, 2009 by Noodlebean

Okay so…

Weight: 191.0 (back down 1/2 # from 5/9)

Now, the question in my new life is becoming…. how can I shed this weight while traveling, like, three quarters of the time? I need to be super vigilant, find ways to exercise while on the road, etc. Any suggestions?

Weigh-In (Noodlebean): Week 65

May 3, 2009 by Noodlebean

Well, I have good news and bad news…

Weight: 190.0 (down 1 # from last week)

The bad news is that obviously last week’s weigh-in of 191 was for real. Oy vey! The good news is that I’m down a pound. But really, I don’t deserve it. I haven’t done anything. And Mr. Peanut dragged out the elliptical machine for me last week only to discover it was damaged in the move. So, this week we’ll see what happens. Going to try to actually cook something instead of eating out (imagine that).

Weigh-In (Noodlebean): Week 64

April 25, 2009 by Noodlebean

Wtf:

Weight:
191.0 (up FOUR AND A HALF POUNDS from 4/18)

Oh my god. I’m really, really, really upset. I have my period, so I guess that’s why this is happening, but it doesn’t matter: I’m back to feeling like complete shit about myself, my life, and my body. Great!

I’m practically back up to my original starting weight, as if the 20 pounds I lost before never happened. I HATE THIS SO MUCH!!!!!!!

Weigh-In (Noodlebean): Week 63

April 18, 2009 by Noodlebean

I’m really teetering around this mark…

Weight: 186.5 (back up 1/2 # from last week)

I’m really doing nothing though to try to lose weight. However I’m psyched to report that Mr. Peanut & I are making our kitchen usable this weekend (since the move, it has had crap everywhere and cooking in there has been completely impossible — even any kind of take-out that might involve reheating has been impossible), and both of us really want to get on exercise again. With moving/settling in and starting my new job, not to mention getting thrown off quite a bit by leaving town suddenly last week for a funeral, it’s just been very difficult to get anything off the ground. As always, I hope to be on track soon.

Yesterday I watched a program on TV called the Ultimate Slimdown about a girl in her 20s who lost 50 or 60 pounds over the course of several months (I think 9 months). I was so jealous because they’d be like “Week 23 – 170 pounds” (she started at 213), and I was like crap, I’m already past the 60th week in my journey and I’m only. down. TEN. pounds. Kind of frustrating! But at the same time, I’ve had tons of life change and weird circumstances. I just have to keep chipping away, I guess!
