Weigh-In (Noodlebean): Week 66
May 9, 2009Weigh-In (Mr Peanut): Week 31
August 30, 2008I’ve officially lost over 40 lbs now from my original weight!
Weight: 201
Still teetering on the north edge of 200 (or better yet, 199) but that’s okay. I’m happy to see continued progress and I’m so excited to eventually break the 200 mark. As Noodlebean mentioned, the challenge is going to be to maintain this during our trip. I’m sure we can do it. Wish us luck!
Weigh-In (Mr Peanut): Week 21
June 20, 2008As Noodlebean said, this is a short week for us, so I’m was super happy/surprised to see that I had lost another 2lbs. PFFS is like magic! I’m so happy to be back on it and losing weight again.
Weight: 204
I’m coming up on 2 pretty big milestones: 40 lbs. down for all time, and the 200 lb. mark! Both of those will be pretty amazing. Thanks for all the support!
Weigh-In (Mr Peanut)
March 22, 2008So this is pretty cool. I’m exactly halfway between my largest weight and my goal weight. It feels like a milestone! Keep up the good work everybody, it’s totally paying off!! Here’s the updated stats. I decided to update my belly measurements too.
Weight: 213.5
Gut: 41 ½” (from 44″)
Waist: 39 ¾” (from 41 ¼”)
Tomorrow’s Menu (3HD/Mr. Peanut)
March 19, 2008Here is Mr. Peanut’s menu for tomorrow!
Breakfast: Strawberry Orange Muffin with Fresh Orange
Snack: Gelatin
Lunch: Taco Salad (I am totally jealous of this!!)
Snack: Oreo – 100 Cal. Pack
Dinner: Turkey Meatballs with Spaghetti Squash, Marinara Sauce, Roll and Margarine (roll & margarine not pictured — sorry! We’ll get photos of these tomorrow when he actually eats it, though)
Treat: Animal Crackers
Tiny Peanut Butters
March 18, 2008I mentioned before that I wanted to try these tiny peanut butters from Minimus. Well, I got them:
I’m really excited about this because I love the convenience of the tiny Smuckers peanut butters that are provided on these diets, but I’m deeply disturbed that they involve hydrogenated oils. My new peanut butters are organic and free of trans fats. Hooray!
Now, the Smuckers pbs are 3/4 oz each. These pbs are 1.15 oz. So it gets a little confusing here. An ounce of peanut butter is 2 tablespoons. So the Smuckers pbs are like 1.5 T, and the new pbs are about 2 1/3 T (someone please tell me if that math is wrong). Usually if we add peanut butter as a snack, we try to add about 1 tablespoon so it’s around 100 cals (1 T pb = about 95 cals).
Good heavens. Okay. So I think most likely what I will do is replace the Smuckers pbs (when they show up with the PFFS or 3HD meals, which is not all that often) with these Justin’s pbs and not worry about the extra 50 calories or so. But if we have a pb snack, I will probably divide the packets of Justin’s in half to make it closer to a tablespoon.
Special Day
March 15, 2008Hey friends, I just wanted to share with you all that today is Noodlebean’s birthday!! Hooray! I know that some of you have spoken with her quite a bit and might want to wish her a happy birthday. I think the best gift of all this year is finally getting on a weight loss program that actually works (and finally getting clear of the eDiets mess!). Anyway, drop her a quick note if you get a chance!

Weigh-In (Noodlebean)
March 15, 2008HOLLA! After all the various derailments over the last few weeks, I really did not know what to expect when I got on the scale this morning (I started my period yesterday, too, which usually means some weight fluctuation). But it was good news!
Weight: 187.5
That’s down 1/2 pound since my last official weigh-in, and I will take it. I’m happy as long as the trend is in the downward direction (even if occasionally it goes up a slight bit). Hooray!
