Hey there, I followed you for a long time ago when I was trying out E-Diets meal delivery. I thought of you just today, though, when I came across this brand of "on the go" meals:

http://www.gopicnic.com/

Each meal is basically just a box full of fun, healthy, snacky-type foods, but it's fun having a bunch of cute little packets of spreads and crackers and granola bars and fruit. I remembered that you have an affinity for such tiny food packaging, so I thought I'd stop by and post the link. Good luck with stuff!

Hey Girl.

So glad to see you post. I was worrying. :)

I'm still bobbing between 179 and 184. Very happy. As, I was 240 pounds December 2007, and this means I'm maintaining, even though I'm maintaining at 10 to 20 pounds above my new goal weight (I keep shifting the goal weight down, as I get closer to it).

I'm so sorry things have been stressful for you. Boy, have I been there! {{hugs}}

Just know it'll all come together when it's meant to. You've got bigger stuff going on right now, and you need to be where you are for whatever reason. There will be another day. Trust that! :) I know you can do it. When the time is right.

Keep us posted, okay?

XO

Yay! Even though you have had setbacks I'm glad that you have updated us on whats going on with you. I actually tried diet-to-go after reviewing your post and it worked but I just couldn't afford it for longer than a month. I have tried multiple different things and I'm now trying the fat smash diet because I just want something that gives me a day to day plan so I don't have to make the choices myself. I am back to my starting weight also but we must never give up now matter what because ultimately our health should come first. I hope things start to settle down for you and I believe you will reach your goal!

Hello,

We did the DTG low fat plan (and didn't lose weight, by the way). I have no experience with the low carb plan. However, I would probably venture that for FAST weight loss, PFFS might be more effective -- but that's just based on the fact that the caloric values claimed on the DTG foods seemed to be off.

However, if you're asking what I would truly recommend, it would be that you not do anything too drastic, even with the big event coming up, and that you do a plan that will allow you to lose weight in a healthful and sustainable way. Just my $.02!

Good luck, whatever you choose!!

HI there,

I've seen a lot of your online posts and perused this very informative blog. I need some advice. I'm wondering if, when you talk about DTG, you're talking about the low fat diet and not the low carb? Particularly that email string where someone complained about not losing and all the sodium, etc.

I'm trying to decided between DTG low carb and PFFS. My main criteria is that I want to lose as much weight as possible in the next 7 weeks. (Big event). After that, I don't mind it slowing down as long as I keep losing.

I'm wondering which of those two plans you'd recommend. Thanks so much for any insight you can offer!

Well I see we are both at a standstill. I am wandering around again on the meal delivery services.. I am just completeing a round of DTG low fat. and surprisingly the food it TON"S better than last year.. No weightloss of course but I am enjoying the food. .....I have to get down on it again and will be going back to Bistro. as that seems to be where I do the best and feel the best......I hope you find a good plan to use while out on the road. That is really a tough thing to do.... I did it for many many years and where I gained all this weight.
Hope you feeling better now and moving forward.
